Horse Camp Forms and Information

Please fill out the forms below before April 15, 2020. This will speed your registration process. Waivers must be signed at Registration the morning of horse camp.

Please ensure a parent/guardian is present at Drop off/Registration unless other arrangements have been made with the Camp Director.

Please complete payment at the PayPal link below.  If unable to use PayPal a check or money order in the full amount should be sent to:

on or before April 15, 2020 (an additional $10 office fee applies). Otherwise your spot will be released to someone on the waiting list.

Participant Rules

HORSES

​

1.  No stallions of any age will be accepted.

2.  All horses must have a current negative coggins. 

3.  Horses when not in use must be properly secured with lead to trailer, not held in and hand or in any camp use area.

GENERAL RULES​

​

1. Program director(s) reserve the right to change programs. 2. No visitors, unless listed on forms until show time.
3. All campers must be accompanied by a parent or designated chaperone.
4. No camper may leave camp
5. Campers must be on time and attend every scheduled class or activity. Campers have five minutes to report to lesson time with horse prepared to ride or lesson will be forfeited.
6. No dogs allowed at any time.
7. There will be no riding double, no running of horse and no bareback riding at any time.
8. The first lesson of the day will be conducted on lead line to evaluate campers skill.
9. Instructors reserve the right to promote and demote within skill levels and disciplines as necessary. Final approval of show class rests with instructor.
10. There will be no driving between areas or around classes, park in designated areas only.
Irresponsible driving will not be tolerated.

11. No one allowed on another camper's horse.
12. No alcohol allowed on club property.
13. Any leader has the right to correct a camper’s inappropriate behavior. Unruly behavior will result in dismissal.
14. All campers must wear long pants (no shorts), boots or riding shoes with heels and approved ASTM/SEI helmets which are properly fastened and fitted during riding and/or working with horses. Camp t-shirts will be worn in the evening for show attire.
15. Campers are to dress appropriately which may include t-shirts (no reference to drugs, sex, alcohol, tobacco and racially or sexually insensitive material), proper riding clothes such as long pants, boots & helmet. Low-cut tops and/or tops that show bare midriffs, short- shorts and excessively low-cut pants/jeans are not appropriate. Jeans should fit or be belted so that they do not ride down.
16. All clean-up must be complete before anyone is released from camp.


PLEASE BE ADVISED THERE IN NO POTABLE WATER ON SIGHT. WE WILL PROVIDE WATER FOR HORSES AND CAMPERS BUT ANY OTHER REQURED WATER MUST BE PROVIDED BY CAMPER/ATTENDEES.

Items to Bring

Equipment for Camper

Paper and pencil for taking notes.

Riding clothes and Show clothes (long pants, boots or riding shoes). Appropriate clothing is required by all campers. See rules.

All riders – ASTM/SEI properly fastened and fitted helmets. Sunscreen and Bug Spray.

 

Equipment for Horse (if bringing one)

Feed and Hay.
Halter & (2) lead ropes.
Saddle, saddle pad & bridle and other required tack. Feed tub, hay bag & water bucket.
Rake, shovel, & muck bucket for cleaning.
Copy of negative coggins for each horse.
Grooming Equipment .
Fly repellant.
